He Makes it Easy!
This is my 4th Shawn Trautman DVD. And it's as easy as the first one. It's all broken down into easy steps. When he first does the dance to show it to you, you wonder how can I do that? But when he starts to teach it, there is no problem putting it all together step by step.I'm looking forward to the Smokin' DVDs. Anyone should be able to do line dance with his lessons....

Another Fantastic DVD!
Just as the first volume, this volume shows you the step-by-step dance moves at different angles at a very good pace. This will add to and build on the dances in your dance repertoire. My children even danced with me and were keeping up and having a great old time! The instructor doesn't leave you hanging and explains everything clearly. What's also nice, once you've mastered the basics, he adds special moves at the end that can make you look like you've being doing it forever and that gives you the freedom to improvise some things on your own. I really recommend this DVD for anyone who wants to learn how to country line dance. They really do these dances out on the dance floor, so it's stuff you can use and apply in real life!

Great again!
My wife and I loved this one as well as it was the 3rd one that we went through. Shawn's DVDs are easy enough that we learned all three of his beginner ones in a weekend and felt comfortable. If you're new to line dancing, you should try these DVDs if for nothing more than to get much better quickly. The dances are fun and presented very well. Thanks again.

I really enjoy each of these line dances and always have. Part of it's the music they go to and the other part is that they're just great dances. These are 'staples' for line dancers and are played at clubs and line dance events around the world to this day. Not only have I enjoyed dancing the dances, but I've enjoyed teaching them over the years.

As an instructor, I'm constantly reviewing and having to learn new dances. Some are terrible and most are just okay. Some stay for a few months then die out and then others stick around long-term and really catch on. The ones that have made it to our Essentials line are the ones we've captured here and ones we're confident you'll want to know.
My three favorites here are from instructors I used to work with, Jo Thompson, Eddie Harper, and Linda DeFord (Bump in the Dark, Back to Louisiana, and Ski Bumpis, respectively). All three are outstanding individuals and great dance instructors. Their dances are well-crafted and keep people on the dance floor. Each one has a particular element to it that keeps you coming back for more.
All in all, it's a great collection of line dances. Check it out - I think you'll enjoy them as well!
