"I just finished learning the entire DVD of dances and variations and I must say throughout Shawn is an excellent instructor giving back and side views of the moves and dances so you don't have to reverse what you're doing but can move naturally with him. Also, unlike what the most negative reviewer said - you certainly do get to dance every dance to at least a 2 minute piece of music, not including the "prelude" before (doing it without music) and build up he does throughout the entire teaching linking recently learnt moves to the building dance. There is also a Full Review section for doing all the dances and moves in a more aerobic style session and the practice for the last dance "Slappin' Leather" is included after that session rather than in the end of it's section (unlike the rest). An excellent instructor and awesome country line dancing with easy and some impressive advanced variations and pieces. 5 stars!" - Justin Blade (Barbados)

Excellent Instruction
"I'm a teacher and I can tell you first-hand that Shawn is an excellent instructor. This was my first Shawn Trautman DVD and I'll tell you it's worth taking a look at. The way Shawn presents the material is extremely easy to follow and he does a great job of breaking the dances into manageable pieces that build on top of one another. I was surprised at how easy the dances were once they were completed. Only change I'd like to see is to have the actual recommended songs on the DVD itself for practice purposes. Another Fantastic DVD!
"Just as the first volume, this volume shows you the step-by-step dance moves at different angles at a very good pace. This will add to and build on the dances in your dance repertoire. My children even danced with me and were keeping up and having a great old time! The instructor doesn't leave you hanging and explains everything clearly. What's also nice, once you've mastered the basics, he adds special moves at the end that can make you look like you've being doing it forever and that gives you the freedom to improvise some things on your own. I really recommend this DVD for anyone who wants to learn how to country line dance. They really do these dances out on the dance floor, so it's stuff you can use and apply in real life!"

Updated 6/5/11: Wow, what can I say about the Line Dance 6 Pack? This is the first time we've offered all six (6) DVDs as a single package and they're blowing off the shelves! Several times a week I get to hear from new line dancers that are now experiencing a whole new world thanks to what they're learning. It's exactly what we had envisioned when we put it together and it's exciting to see the impact it's having.
Not only are kids getting into line dancing, but tons of folks in their 60s, 70s & 80s are getting out there & having fun for the first time. I don't know if there's a "best age" to start, but I do know the Line Dance 6-Pack is the "best place!"

This is so much different than just taking line dance lessons at the club; it's an entire course that you can literally master in days if you stick to your guns.
